We have previously blogged about our great relationship with the fantastic local charity, The Isabel Baker Foundation. This might well be our favourite event we get to help them out with!
So what’s involved in the Dorset Plane Pull?
It’s quite simple really – although by no means a small feat. The Dorset Plane Pull is hosted at Bournemouth Airport every year in August.
The event sees teams of 20 individuals take up the challenge to pull a mighty Boeing 737 commercial airliner weighing 35,000kg a distance of 50 meters in the fastest time. It is a unique team building and morale boosting activity for groups as it requires participants to come together as a team to achieve this daunting task!
Although most teams compete just for fun, the aim is to win the prize for the fastest pull over the 50-meter distance and raise vital funds for guys at The Isabel Baker Foundation.
